About Me

A young woman with long black hair wearing a black spaghetti strap dress, standing in a doorway and looking at the camera.

Hey there! I am Mia and I’m a photographer currently based in the Bay Area and soon to be in Santa Barbara. My work is grounded in authenticity and connection. I strive to capture not just how life looks, but how it feels. I value genuine moments and storytelling, whether it’s a quiet portrait, a joyous milestone, or the energy of a performance. I love working with people and communities to bring their stories to life.

Ever since I was young, I’ve always been an artist at heart, constantly drawn to expressing myself through drawing, crafting, and creating. As I grew older, I found that photography became my most powerful tool. It allows me to capture fleeting emotions, preserve the stories that unfold around me, and give voice to moments that might otherwise go unseen. Photography, for me, is a way to connect with people and the world we share. It’s my way of celebrating the beauty in the everyday, capturing the spirit of people, and helping others see the world through a lens of wonder and authenticity.

Outside of my photography, I’m an engineering student who will soon be pursuing a PhD at UC Santa Barbara. I’ve always loved balancing technical challenges with creative expression, and content creation gives me that outlet. Whether I’m behind a camera, crafting visual stories, or diving into research, I find joy in exploring both worlds.

As I continue my journey in Santa Barbara, I’m excited to capture new environments and moments, always guided by the belief that every frame can carry emotion and meaning.
